Heyy!
So it has been a hot minuet since we've talked but i'm here to chat
with you about face cream.
I have crazy sensitive skin. I'm allergic to an incredibly long list
of things, so when I trying to moisturize away dry winter skin I'm
picky and often still have issues.
I usually use most of Aveeno's products, their delicate and work
great; however, their crazy expensive if you don't catch a sale.
I also have recently been using a baby cream, which works amazingly
but i'm having trouble finding it - my sister gave me the last tube
I used.
So while walking through a pharmacy debating different creams, my sister recommended I try Olay 12 hours hydration sensitive skin.
The cream was about $9.00 CA for the 177ML
which isn't bad, Its scentless, dye free, light weight, and doesn't feel greasy which is always a plus!
Review Time!
I really like the Olay cream, I have a hard time with
products and the fact that this has not cause any problems
is a big deal for me! Just because it says for sensitive
skin means doodily squat for me most of the time.
The cream has no sent which I like cause it sucks when
something works really well but smells gross and it goes
on your face π
It is light weight so after you put it on you don't really
notice.
I have a couple super dry spots on my face and even after
just 2 uses I noticed a huge difference; however, It did burn
a little bit, not that Im blaming that on the cream at all my
skin really was just that dry.
The cream also comes in a 'regular' formula and SPF for both
wich is nice. The SPF bottle is a little smaller it comes in about
118ML opposed to the 177ML of the other bottles.
The packaging recommends using it once in the morning and
once before bed, which I think is pretty standard.
I like this product and would highly recommend to anyone
who is looking to try something new, or just needs a good
cream to begin with.
Well thats all for now
What products do you like, have you tried this one? Let me know
Thanks for reading! I'll be back soon!

Simon VS The Homo Sapiens Agenda
Heyy!
Today we will be talking about the book 'Simon Vs The
Homo Sapiens Agenda' by Becky Albertalli. There will
be spoilers, you have been warned
The book opens on a conversation between 2 boys in a school,
and even without pretext you know it can't be good.
Simon - main character - appears on the outside as a 'normal' well
adjusted high school kid with good friends, and a great appreciation
for theatre - same simon, same; however simon is toting around a large
secret that someone found out by reading his e-mails!!! π¦
You are introduced to Simons friends - guitar loving, soccer playing Nick,
sensitive Leah, and theatre buddy Abby- are all part of the main group.
And then there's Blue, secret gay boy at Creekwood High School, the only one who knows Simon's gay. The boys e-mail each other as often as they can
talking about everything from halloween costumes to Blue's
dad's new baby. Blue is weary on moving the relationship past
anything besides e-mail, Simon is conflicted, but spends a
large amount of the book wondering who on earth Blue could be.
As the book progresses you meet Simons family - reality tv obsessed parents, and two sisters. Simons mom is a therapist and in his opinion analysis everything he does and is way to excited about every new thing he winds up doing, driving him crazy.
Blue is Simon's safe haven even though they
try not to disclose revealing anecdotes, they discuss
everything else, coming out, Oreos, and middle school
ticks. Everything is working, until it isn't.
During the christmas break Simon is outed in an awful way forcing him to confront everyone telling them the truth on christmas, with a small brush of bullying in the new year back at school.
Letting more personal information slip through Blue is able to guess who
Jacques -Simon - is, Simon for his part guesses incorrectly who Blue is
causing a little awkwardness between the online friends. With a riff between
Simon and his non-virtual friends, the teen goes out on a limb telling
Blue where he'll be and when. Wearing the shirt Blue bought for him
Simon heads to the parking lot fair.
Showing up to the fair 30 minuets before the fair closes Simon
discovers who Blue really is, and he is not disappointed.
Discussing 'them' the boys make their relationship official and are
super happy together.
Review time!
I loved this book!! I read it in 2 day, could not put it down!
Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda is an amazing coming
out story, and I really do think parts of the book could apply
to everyone! I mean how many people really truly know who
they are in high school, or at any time for that matter?!
The fact that Simon was able to find someone to make him truly
happy is amazing to me. When Simon found out who Blue was I
was ridiculously excited.
The book is so amazing I honestly recommend it to everyone! It's
honest, and sweet, and straight up adorable! Between family, and
friend interactions, and every e-mail from Blue this book made me
so happy!
Seriously go read it you won't regret it! π
Thats all for now π
What do you think? Have you Read it? Let me know.
Thanks for reading! I'll be back soon!

Home Made Fondant
Heyy!
Today we're going to be talking about fondant
While baking my nieces birthday cake, which lets be honest was
looking a little lumpy, we decided to try our hand at making fondant.
You Need:
1 Bag of marshmallows
1 Bag of icing sugar
tap water
Put about half the bag of marshmallows in a large container, and
microwavein 3o second bursts until they're gooey - similar consistency
as though you were making rice crispies.
Once you have the desired constancy stir in 4 cups - use more if needed - of icing
sugar kneed until well folded together, add 3-4 table spoons of water,
mix again.
Once everything is combined you should have a similar feel to play doh,
do not touch it to much you can over work, and crumble it.
If you want coloured fondant before you take it out of the bowl work in
your colours. When you are done put down some icing sugar, and roll out
your marshmallow fondant.
Review Time!
This is great! it works flawlessly, its quick to make, it costs less than store bought,
and in my opinion it tastes better than store bought fondant; however, it is very
sticky if you roll it too thin, do not get it on your clothes, and always make sure
all working surfaces are sufficiently covered in whatever you choose to put down
- Icing sugar, corn starch - It will stick to the rolling pin if rolled too thin - But it
works great, and covers just the same as store bought. I really enjoyed making it
and using it on my desserts.
Thats all for now π
What do you think? Have you Tried it? Let me know.

A Year In The Life - Winter
Heyy!
Today were going to be talking about Gilmore Girls - Long over due!
I have just finished watching all 360 minutes of the revival - again - and
here are my thoughts, opinions, and random mentions about 'Winter'.
The show opens with some favourite lines from the first 7 seasons such as:
~ "How many cups have you had this morning?
none
plus
five but yours is better"
~ "I got kissed! And I shoplifted!"
and
~ "I Smell Snow"
Just to name a few of the great quotes they have included in the revival
of what is, in my opinion, one of the best shows ever made, ever!
Lorelai and Rory meet at the gazebo in the tow square, where Rory is just off a
flight from London. The girls promptly share coffee, gifts, and food for their walk
about the town to quickly catch up on the goings on of Stars Hollow, and Rory get
her copy of the Stars Hollow gazette. Rory is home.
Rory has an absurd number of cell phones and nothing seems to be working for her,
Lorelai is living with Luke, and Emily is struggling to move on after Richard passed
on as well as holding a semi well deserves grudge with Lorelai for the things said at
Richards memorial.
Emily has commissioned a ginormous painting of Richard right by the drink cart,
wears jeans!!, gets into a fight with Lorelai where some incredibly hurtful things are
said, sees a therapist, and starts throwing away all things that give her no joy. Its a
rollercoaster.
The Gilmore matriarch has a whole slew of people move into her home speaking a
language no one has ever heard before - including a UN translator - Its nice to see
Emily change and be more caring towards her staff; however, on the other hand it
is very odd and completely unemily!
Rory is bouncing from place to place - London, New York, Stars Hollow - and
doesn'thave a concrete job. The young Gilmore girl is also hooking up with
Logan when in London despite the fact that the man is engaged! and she has
an oh so forgettable boyfriend Paul.
Rory's belonging are spread across loved ones houses - as she has no place
of her own - and she can't seem to locate anything she wants, namely her red dress.
Rory is trying to write a book with a crazy lady and it is not working out for her,
mostly because the lady is a bit scattered in her thoughts, and actually working on
the book.
Lorelai is still at the Dragonfly; however it appears as though her heart is no
longer in it, Sookie is gone, and Michele wants out to get more money for
the baby his husband may have 'ordered'. Luke has become bitter about a longer
list of things, and gives out a whole lot of wrong wifi passwords, but is still making
food in the diner on the corner for the hungry people of the little town in Connecticut.
Kirk and Lulu are thinking of babies, so doing what may be the best thing, the
town pulls together to buy the couple a little pink pig! Petal who is super cute! Kirk
starts ΓΆΓΆΓΆ-ber, a sound which annoys Lorelai to the point of beaning Kirk with someone
else' bagels; however, ΓΆΓΆΓΆ-ber is promptly ended when Kirk is contacted by Uber lawyers.
Paris makes a large splash into the first of four episodes by potentially setting
Luke and Lorelai up with a surrogacy baby - that turns out not to happen. Paris
is super successful, wildly smart, a mother(!) of two, and divorced from Doyle.
Lane is still married, Hep Alien is thriving, and Zach is odd, but wasn't he always.
That is a quick synopsis of the first episode of the revival!
Review time!
The girls are pretty much the same as they were when we left them in 2007.
The writers seem to be a little more free flowing with the language of the script
now that the show is on Netflix, but are still just the Gilmore Girls.
I am a little biased, I love this show and find that there is very little they could do
that I wouldn't watch over and over. Parts of the revival we're odd and I wasn't sure
I even liked the first time I watched it, but the second time I think I understand it better
I may not love every second but do we ever?
This is the cast we originally fell in love with in 2000, and now Amy Sherman Palladino
has finally gotten to take these girls home where she always knew they would end up.
What do you think? Did you love it? Hate it? Watch it? Let me know.

Look What You Made Me Do - Taylor Swift
Heyy!
So today we are going to be talking about Taylor Swifts
new song 'look What You Made Me Do'.
I just listened to this song for the first time and I have to say
I am conflicted.
I really like parts of it the lyrics are good and the music works with
it; however, there also parts of the song that I would be totally okay
if they were not in the song.
The animation works with the song all the way through
and helps push the story along.
The video is primarily dark using greys and blacks, with bright
splashes of bright red, which I think also helps with the story.
Review Time!
I really do like most of this song I've been listening to Taylor Swift
music since before she changed her sound, but I'm just not sure about
this one. Parts of the song are repetitive and I personally am just not
all that into that kind of redundant sound, It's just the chorus that I
am not all that fussed on, I like the rest of the song although the ending
is a little odd.
Tell me what you think! Do you love it? Hate it? Haven't heard it?

To The Bone
Heyy!
So today we're going to talk about a new Netflix movie 'To The Bone'.
This movie stars
Lili Collins as Ellen / Eli
Keanu Reeves as Dr. William Beckham
Alex Sharp as Luke
Just to name a few.
The movie is about 20 year old artist Ellen who is suffering with Anorexia. Ellen's step mother - Carrie Preston - gets Ellen a meeting with a Doctor who practices unconventional styles, trying to install in his youths that life is worth it, while also pushing buttons and boundaries.
Changing her name Eli slowly becomes friends with Luke the pair hang out more and more going through the drama of the house together until it's just too much to fast, and they stop talking.
In a flash of over emotion and pushing boundaries and buttons, Eli has had enough and packs up after a confrontation on the stairs with Luke - who is now facing the fact that he will never dance again, his dream - Eli takes off as fast as possible.
Eli buses out to Phoenix to be with her mom - Lili Taylor - and her mothers wife - Brooke Smith - who didn't want Eli in the first place. After climbing a small mountain in Phoenix and passing out Eli has a dream in which she comes to see how sickly she's become. Climbing back to town Eli goes home to LA, and back to the home with Dr. Beckham.
In the movie you never see Eli's dad he is always 'busy' with his new wife making excuses for him to the family.
Review time!
I really enjoyed this movie, I have never suffered with any of these problems, but I thought the acting was exceptional. I know that Lili Collins was able to draw from her personal past to help her with the character, but even without that I think the whole cast was excellently picked and worked well to portray a hot button topic into a great movie.
I would recommend this movie, but say that be careful if you have suffered with any of these topics. The movie does not push a lot of the problem front and centre yes they come up often, but they help drive the story line of young people trying to get better so they can live their lives.
The ending of the movie was a little odd but I enjoyed the whole thing thoroughly.
Have you seen it? What did you think? Let me know!

Lady Midnight
Heyy!
Today we're going to talk about Cassandra Clare's book 'Lady Midnight'. Spoilers Expected
This book stars Emma Carstairs, Julian 'Jules' Blackthorn, Julians brothers and sisters - Mark, Tiberius, Livia, Drusilla, and Octavian - and Christina Mendoza-Rosales.
With minor apperances from Diego rocΓo Rosales, Diana Wrayburn, Arthur Blackthorn, Malcolm Fade, faerie prince Kieran, Johnny and Christopher 'kit' Rook, Magnus Bane, Tessa Grey, and Jem Carstairs.
"Lady Midnight" is the the first book in 'The Dark Artifices" series - a sub-series from 'The Mortal Instruments". The prologue opens with Kit and Johnny going to the Shadow Market, Johnny specializes in selling secrets and other artifacts that are difficult to get ahold of this is where you meet Emma and her at the time boyfriend.
The book then opens up in LA with the Emma and Christina waiting on a roof with the information Emma bought at the 'Shadow Market', and discussing the man Christina - who is in LA to see how institute life is in another country - left behind and Emmas' Parabatai - Julian. The girls follow the lead only to find a dead man.
Julian and his family come home form England, and in Emma's opinion he was acting strange. Life goes on as normal in the institute, until the faerie court come with a quest and Mark Blackthorn - if they can solve the puzzle they can keep the eldest brother.
Saddled with the new task and a deadline with which to complete it the Blackthorns and Emma work on the riddle. Going anywhere they can think of - Lady midnight theatre, shadow market, Johnny rooks - the Parabatai stumble upon a dead girl in a pool of water missing her hands when Julian is shot with a poisoned arrow Julian is stubborn but Emma is just able to save him.
The young group seek help from Malcolm - warlock and friend - with the answer to the riddle.
Emma goes to the cave - where the person behind the sacrifice has been stacking thing - but while polling around Emma is washed out to sea - Emma hates the water - just when she is about to give up Julian finds and rescues Emma pulling her to the sand the young Parabatai confess their love for each other which unfortunately is agains the law.
Sometime later while Christina and Emma are trailing a man they believe is due to die and wish to protect when they stumble across the man with the crossbow - 'Perfect' Diego - Christina's future husband until she fled the country. You also learn that Mark is in love with the Faerie prince, until Kieran is responsible for getting Julian and Emma flogged. While Emma and Julian struggle with their illegal love the young Blackthorns solve the riddle; however it looks as though it maybe too late.
Saving Tavvy, and the day, the mismatched family goes back to the institute where Emma learns the possible ramifications of what her love with Julian is capable of and why it is against the law, concocting a plan that will not only discourage Julian but also hurt him deeply Emma seeks out Mark.
Review Time!
I love this book so much, it is amazing! One of, if not my favourite Cassandra Clare novel.
The story pulls you in close from the first sentence, and you can't help but become absorbed in the characters lives you want something good for Christina - possibly Diego - for the twins to figure out the puzzle, for Tavvy to come home safe, for Mark to forgive and love Kieran again, but most of all you want a loop pole on the shadow hunter law for Jules and Emma!
I would highly recommend this book to anyone! Even if you were not that big of a fan of the Mortal instruments I would seriously try this one. The book is a bit long clocking in at 668 pages but such a good read!
Its a great journey of a book and one I would highly consider reading if I were you :P
Tell me what you think! Do you agree? Did you hate it? Let me know!

The book then opens up in LA with the Emma and Christina waiting on a roof with the information Emma bought at the 'Shadow Market', and discussing the man Christina - who is in LA to see how institute life is in another country - left behind and Emmas' Parabatai - Julian.
